The RG2 is designed for grinding new rails in the area of expansion joints, switches and tracks as well as for grinding surface flaws such as head checks or squats up to a depth of 1.5 mm. Additional strengths of this all-rounder include the grinding of rail corrugation and deburring up to ‑40° (about Y‑32).
